Earthquake Spectra now hosted at Wiley

Spectra Transition to Wiley

Earthquake Spectra has finished its transition to our new publishing partner, Wiley, as announced by our Editor-In-Chief Jack Baker last year.

Earthquake Spectra remains wholly owned and managed by EERI, but we rely on Wiley as our publishing partner to support publication logistics, website hosting for the journal volumes, and distribution of the journal on behalf of EERI. Similar to our last agreement with Sage, our new publishing partnership with Wiley allows income from EERI’s publishing program to support EERI’s mission and work to achieve earthquake resilience in communities worldwide.

Our new Earthquake Spectra website is now live, where all Earthquake Spectra content–new and old–can be found moving forward.

Readers will find all current and past articles, as well as convenient links to our special earthquake collections and award-winning paper collections. Current EERI members, with updated membership in 2026, maintain their full access to journal content. Membership access is very similar to our last system, and instructions are included below.

Authors will find author guidelines to support preparation of their submissions, as well as submission information with links to the new peer review portal. We expect that you will appreciate the newer systems used at Wiley, as we’ve had good feedback so far from our Editorial Board members.
