This Data Paper presents an updated strong ground-motion database for the Chilean subduction zone, expanding substantially on the prior compilation by Bastías and Montalva (2016). The database contains 43,050 records from 6,679 earthquakes with moment magnitudes from 4.0 to 8.8, recorded at 530 stations between 1985 and 2024. Events are classified into interface, inslab, shallow crustal, and outerrise categories based on hypocentral depth, focal mechanism, and location relative to the subduction trench. Site characterization is provided for all stations; Vs30 is measured directly at 223 stations and estimated elsewhere using a weighted combination of three proxy methods: topographic slope, horizontal-to-vertical spectral ratios, and P-wave seismogram ratios. The flatfile includes PGA, PGV, CAV, Arias intensity, significant duration, and 5%-damped pseudospectral acceleration at 27 periods, with orientation-independent RotD00, RotD50, and RotD100 horizontal spectra. Processed and unprocessed three-component acceleration, velocity, and displacement time series for each record are provided in HDF5 format along with a Jupyter notebook for data access.
